A Note About Bees
Bees should always be dealt with by a professional, and you should not try to deal with bees yourself. As most types of bees are endangered, the risk of being harmed by them is low and they tend to go away of their own accord, it can often be best to leave them be (pun intended!). If you’re concerned about bees, just give us a call and we’ll be more than happy to advise.

Wasps
Wasps can be a danger – their stings can be painful, but can particularly cause harm to children and the elderly. Your furry friends are even at risk, as pets can be vulnerable to wasp stings. If you are allergic to wasps, then a sting can cause harm.
Wasps’ nests can typically be found in trees, bushes or other foliage, in places such as sheds and garages or in walls and under eaves, and if you see a large number of wasps around your home it could be the sign of a nest.
Flies
Bluebottles and cluster flies are some of the most common types of fly that you might encounter, and with their eggs hatching in around 48 hours, they can get out of control quickly. We’re here to help, and can get rid of any type of fl
Ants
Ants are attracted to sweet food, with the most common species invading houses being the Black Garden Ant. Ants lay their eggs in the Spring, and flying ants swarm during July and August.
If you’re having problems with ants, we can resolve the problem quickly and efficiently.
Moths
The main risk that moths cause is damage to property, clothes and textiles such as curtains or carpets, and while they need attention, do not cause much of a health risk. Before your favourite jumper is a victim to the moths, give us a call!
Fleas
Flea bites can cause a huge amount of irritation and discomfort if you get bitten, and bites can even cause an infection or an allergic reaction. It’s also important to take care of your furry friends, as any pet owner knows how uncomfortable fleas can be for them. Extended periods of infestation can even cause health problems.
While the biggest sign of fleas is physically seeing them either around the home or on your pets, you’ll probably notice your pets scratching, biting or licking themselves more than usual, and could even see bites on your ankles and legs (or on your arms if you’ve been stroking your pet.).
Fleas are much more common in summer, as the heat and humidity provides an ideal environment for breeding and their eggs hatching.
